Thunderbolts stands apart from many Marvel team films by concentrating on emotionally damaged antiheroes instead of established symbols of heroism. Its central message is that people do not need to be perfect to help others, but they must confront their own failures and learn to accept support before they can move forward.

Movie Story
Thangalaan lives with his family and community in a region where survival depends on hard physical work. Their lives change when British authorities begin looking for workers who can guide them toward gold deposits. Thangalaan agrees to join the expedition, hoping the opportunity might improve life for his people.
The journey soon reveals that the search for gold is not simply an economic mission. The land has its own history, and the people living there understand it through stories, memory, spirituality, and inherited knowledge. The British approach the same land primarily as something to be extracted and controlled.
