The Gifted gives the X-Men concept a smaller and more personal focus by putting an ordinary family at the center of the mutant conflict.
Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker lead the cast alongside Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Emma Dumont, Blair Redford, Natalie Alyn Lind and Percy Hynes White. Across two seasons, the series develops from a family’s escape story into a wider conflict over mutant identity, survival and the possibility of peaceful coexistence.
Its combination of established X-Men ideas with new characters and family drama helped The Gifted build its own identity within Marvel’s mutant world.
