Pacific Rim is a science fiction action film directed by Guillermo del Toro, released in 2013. The film stars Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba and Rinko Kikuchi as huge robot pilots who fight gigantic sea monsters called Kaiju to preserve mankind from extinction.
