Daayra (2026)
Daayra follows two senior police officers, DCP Raman Kumar and DCP Ajooni Kohli, as a controversial investigation places them on opposing sides of the same system.
The case becomes more than a straightforward police investigation. As evidence, public opinion, and institutional responsibility begin to collide, the characters must deal with questions that do not have simple answers.
Meghna Gulzar uses the investigation as the foundation for a serious story about justice and accountability. Rather than presenting the case as an easy battle between right and wrong, the film examines how complicated circumstances can influence the people responsible for finding the truth.
