It does not break new ground in the horror genre but its unique mixture of tension and comic relief makes it a fun, albeit flawed, watch. If you are a fan of horror comedy hybrids and are looking for a film that does not take itself too seriously, KillHer is definitely worth checking out.

Description

KillHer offers an intriguing mix of thriller, horror and dark comedy, where an innocent getaway in the woods spirals into a terrifying and deadly nightmare. The story centers on Mattie, a bride to be who takes a trip to the remote wilderness with her friends to plan her wedding. They camp near a secluded area but soon realize that their adventure is about to take a dark turn. Cut off from the outside world with no cell phone signal, they are at the mercy of the woods and their own secrets. As the weekend progresses the group begins to die under mysterious and horrific circumstances. Tensions rise as hidden secrets emerge, turning what was supposed to be a peaceful retreat into a deadly game of survival.
