The Window

Mina is only 15 when a decision by village elders changes the course of her life. She is forced into a marriage connected to her brother’s wrongdoing and becomes isolated from the world she once knew. A small window becomes one of her few connections to life beyond the room where she is confined.
The Window is a Pakistani American drama thriller directed by Kanza Zia and Ammar Lasani. The film centres on Mina, a young girl in rural Pakistan whose future is taken out of her hands after village elders decide she must pay for an offence committed by her brother. The story follows the long term consequences for Mina and the two families connected by that decision.
